Five useful tips so you have an awesome Acupuncture experience with me.

I remember clearly my first experience with Acupuncture…It was many years ago…I was in a lot of pain and had injured my lower back. The Acupuncturist was a Chinese man who didn’t speak much English. He took my pulse, asked me to lie down on the bed and then stuck a few needles in behind my knees and in my lower back. The needles were really thick and he twirled them until I felt pain. He left me for about 15 mins and then came back to repeat the needle twirling again. Although this did help me with my back pain, I realised when I studied Acupuncture at Uni, that there was a more gentle way in which I could still get fabulous results. Enter Japanese Acupuncture (Toyo Hari and Manaka Style).

I have spent many years learning and refining my gentle Acupuncture techniques in Post Graduate Study to enable me to give you, the client a better and more effective treatment.

Below are some more tips to help you enjoy a better Acupuncture experience.

Wear loose comfortable clothes, so you can get changed quickly and easily. Towels will be used to drape the body.

Arriving with an empty stomach will ensure your energy is used to improve your health, not on digestion.

If this is your first time having an Acupuncture treatment, then please let me know. I can discuss the use of non-needle treatments with you.

We can make a plan of treatment together to address any chronic or complex health issues, or what you would like to work on with Cosmetic Facial Treatments.

There may be homework such as diet, lifestyle changes, and herbs that I may suggest to help improve your health.

Your Acupuncture Experience should be one of relaxation, and rejuvenation where you come out feeling more relaxed and refreshed.
